"Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In": A
Review
[ send me this essay ]
5 pages in length. All of us at one time or another have
experienced those difficult moments when we want to speak up for
our rights but are faced with an adversary, be it family member,
friend, or employer, who is simply a stronger personality type

slinking away without having said what we thought, much less
having a chance at getting what we truly want. The good news is
that now there is help for those who can't seem to get what they
want. Getting to Yes : Negotiating Agreement Without Giving in
is a great resource for learning how to negotiate with anyone and
everyone in a firm but amicable manner, stating facts and walking

"Tucker: A Man And His Dream"
[ send me this essay ]
3 pages in length. Preston Tucker is a lesson of progressive thinking amidst conglomerate control. Not only was this man of grand ideas thrust into the proverbial lion's den when he single-handedly sought to revolutionize the automobile industry, but he - and his vision of seat belts, first-rate design, multi-directional headlights, good gas mileage and pop-out windshields - were systematically deconstructed piece by agonizing piece until he was no longer mentally or economically able to fight against the oppressive nature of big business.
